Great pictures of the progress, thanks to everyone who helped yesterday with wrapping things up and loading the trailer for the show. The progress on the cement modules this summer has been outstanding, arguably the best its looked in years, maybe ever.

The group yesterday endured the heat and got the rest of the PCB ties in the main lines of the cement plant and re-laid the spur track for the Elevator on the outside. We decided to add a wye switch for a new industry a trans-load facility in the front so we cut and pulled the foam from the front and popped in luwan board for the base on the new industrial spur on the front. The PCB ties is a game-changer for the club, its been talked about for years and today we took the first step to dramatically reducing the amount of rail joiners we'll need to install at train shows. The cement plant yard was a low risk area that we could make our first installation attempt. READ MORE

Regrettable, we confirmed the news that former club member Bob Brockel passed away last November 29, 2021. An avid modeler of Union Pacific Bob had joined the club in 2000 and was a regular member until 2010 when he retired from Ball Aerospace in Boulder, Colorado. READ MORE

The 2022 Sherman Hill Train Show was held on May 14th -15th, 2022 and was our third train show in a 45 days period. The event was in a new venue this year (The Archer Event Center) went really well for us, we didn’t have any issues getting into the hall and setting up the layout on Friday Layout onSaturday and Sunday.
